If you have been keeping up with my posts, you have read my life de-cluttering posts and how I have been cleaning my room like a fiend.
I just purged a ton of clothes. I made so much room, but I am trying so hard to not refill it with things I'll never wear. But I have a clothes obsession. I buy wayyy to much.
So I devised a plan, and made a list of 10 wardrobe essentials. My list ranges from casual to dressy, and will help me through every season. And it will hopefully get me through the days where "I can't find anything to wear" while I stare at a pile of clothes.
To make my list, I considered what I wear for work, school, and when I'm out with friends. I kept in mind the constantly changing Chicago weather too, so that I have all bases covered.
My first five essentials are...
1 nice jeans and shorts
2 blazer
3 t shirts
4 dresses/skirts
5 heels/flats
I wear shorts and jeans out and to school on a regular basis, and I love that they can be dressed up or down. I love blazers because they can be worn with almost any type of bottoms, and can also be casual or dressy. I also have so many t shirts to wear under hoodies, my work polo, and to bed. I even saved some old shirts from 2005! But I only wear those to bed and to work out in, haha don't worry.
I only own a few skirts and dresses, but with family parties, holidays, and events, I like to have some in fun patterns and muted ones, so I can dress for any occasion and season. Along with dresses comes heels and pretty flats. I still have to get comfortable wearing heels with jeans, but I always wear them during holidays with dresses. I am only 5'3, so I love putting on a great pair that makes me so much taller. Plus they do wonders for my backside and legs. Thank God.
What would your top wardrobe essentials be? I'd love to hear!
Thanks for reading!

My super messy room
Bonjour, mes amis!
I've been taking French, but I'm sure that's wrong. Oh well.
But since spring is coming, slowly but surely , I have been making a plan for cleaning my room. It's a huge task, because I have so much stuff crammed in my tiny room. I'm hoping that it wont take more an two days, hahaha.
I swear, one day I might end up on hoarders. My room is so messy, it's embarrassing.
I need to start sorting out my clothes, getting rid of things that don't fit and aren't in style, as well as go through my beauty products and craft supplies. I have so many things made, but none of it really organized well. Plus during or after, I might be a little crafty with some of my items, and I will make sure to post about those!
Do you spring clean? I'd love to hear more about how you organize your clothes and makeup! Let me know in the comments!

De-cluttering to do list
Hey everybody!
I have been brainstorming things to do to de-clutter my life. In yesterday's post, I outlined 3 major areas in my life I am looking to fix up. I plan on taking the things on this list step by step, and working on implementing one thing at a time, so that eventually they will become habits, or at least things that I can fall back on if things start becoming cluttered in my life again. So here it all is...
1) cleaning my life/room/car
Go through all the magazines and catalogs in my room and look for inspiration
Start using all my lotions that I have!
Go through old makeup
Use up more of my hair and facial masks
Sort through my clothes and either sell them or give them away
Get rid of the garbage in my car!
Use my current craft supplies instead of buying more!
2) cleaning my mind
Learn to meditate quiet my mind
Recognize when I have negative thoughts and try to make them positive
Read more inspirational books
Learn more about the law of attraction, as well as the other universal laws
3) Clean my eating
Drink less pop, and more tea!
Homemake more things instead of buying microwave meals
Eat less calories so that I can lose weight.
Eat more vegetables and fruits.
So far, I think I have a pretty long, and good list. These things will definitely help me de-clutter my life, and hopefully they will become habits in my life! I'm sure as I go through this list, I will be adding more!
What would you add to this list? Have you done any of these? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!

What I am de-cluttering in life
Hey everyone!
This post is a follow up to yesterday's post about my life de-cluttering. I like using that word, because my life isnt a total mess. It's just a little cluttered with some mess, bad feelings, and stuff like that. But that's about to change!
There are so many things that I want to work on to de-clutter my life, but here is my list so far...
1) Clean my room/car
My room is a total mess. It's absolutely embarrassing, and it's all because of laziness and having too many things. It's safe to say that I've spent too much money in things I intend on using, but I never get around to it. I also have way too many things that I've saved, but I don't need anymore. And I also have so many water bottles and old school papers in my car that I won't drive people with me. That's gotta stop.
2) Clean my mind
This may sound a little strange, but I have a messy mind. (that may at times, be a tad dirty) I have so many thoughts flowing, that I can't control them. I guess it's an Aquarius thing, but I am constantly stuck in my mind. Usually I have creative thougts geared towards my boutique, but a lot of the time I have scary, negative thoughts that go out of control and I can't stop them. And that, my friends, is the cause of my sometimes overwhelming anxiety. And it's never any fun.
3) Clean my eating
I drink way too much diet coke. I've heard before that your body is made up mostly of water, but I know I have more diet coke in there than water. I know that it's really bad for me, so I've decided to try to quit, or atleast, cut back on my 4 cans a day. (I swear, they add sme sort of drugs in it to make it addicting) I also want to eat slightly better, with more vegetables, fruits, and less crap, but this will all change a tiny bit at a time. The eh I see it, choosing one more Wholesome thing to eat over something bad each day, is a step in the right direction.
What do you want to work on in your life, or what positive changes have you made? I'd love to hear about them in the comments!

I'm back! My blog's new direction
Hey everybody!
Ok, I know, I've been a horrible blogger lately. I've let myself down so much. I've been so busy with school, work, and getting my boutique off the ground that I've totally just put this on the back burner.
But I'm coming back! And I'm changing up the things I blog about a little bit.
Lately, my life has been in a rut. I feel like I'm in a fog all the time. I worry and have anxiety over the future and sometimes it makes me depressed too. I am so focused on the future that I forget to enjoy the present.
But that's all about to change!
I'm done letting people push me around. I'm done worrying about my future. I'm done only focusing on the negative.
And I will be taking steps to "de-clutter" my life, mind, and health. I will be using my blog as sort of a journal, as well as also posting about some style and beauty.
Tomorrow I will be posting a list of things I will be working on, de-cluttering, and implementing in my life to be a whole new positive person. :)
Have you ever gone through a life de-cluttering? Or would you like to fix a few things in your life? Let me know in the comments and I will try my best to comment back!

Getting ready for my first craft fair
Hey everybody!
I know I haven't been updating as much as I'd like, but I have been super busy working on That's so Fletch Boutique. I also got into a local craft fair, some have been endlessly making headbands, hair ties and bracelets. I'm working my fingers to the bone, but I love it!
Since I'm still not sure what I will do with an English major in college, I'm sort of hoping that my little boutique can eventually grow and become a job for me.
My parents have been pushing me to pick a major and figure out exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life ever since I was 17, but I am way too indecisive and stubborn. Not a good combination.
What are you guys planning on majoring in? If you already have a career, what d to do?! Id love to hear because I need more ideas!
But anyway, if you haven't gotten the chance, take a look at some of my items on my website, Facebook page, or instagram!

A bunch of random crap
This is going to be a super random post...
My blog was featured on bloggers.com yesterday! I was so glad and thankful, but embarrassed at the same time because I think my blog is crap. I really need to start working on it a ton more.
But I have been working on my handmade accessories store a whole lot. I think I'm practically addicted to it. I love making accessories, and I am constantly trying to promote it on my twitter, Facebook, and instagram. I really want to do a big giveaway soon, so that I can get my products out there, and thank my subscribers for putting up with me being a crappy blogger, on my crappy blog.
As you can see, my confidence levels are pretty low. All the time.
Oh and to make it better, I nearly just walked into another classroom at school. So embarrassing.
But on the bright side, my birthday is in 6 days! I am so happy to not be a teenager anymore! Its weird, but I like want to be in my late 20's already. I feel like I'm already so much older than everyone I know, mentally. But I still look like I'm 14. Ugh.
But I painted my nails the other day! It's not very spring or wintery, but I love the color.
Thanks for reading my super crappy post!
